3rd ODI: South Africa Scored 223/7 against Sri Lanka

South Africa tour of Sri Lanka 2013: South Africa set the target of 224 for Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI Match at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele, Sri Lanka.

South Africa won the toss, and elected to bat first and they loss the first wicket Petersen at 14 runs in 4.1 overs. South Africa kept losing wickets at regular intervals before David Miller scored a quick-fire 85 off 72 to help the Proteas to 223/7.

South Africa have a total to defend after the heroics of Miller towards the end. He took his time in the middle and then exploded towards the end. Perera conceded 19 runs in the 49th over and so did Malinga in the final over. Miller's knock included 4 boundaries and 5 massive sixes, he has made sure that his bowlers have something to defend. Mendis was superb in his comeback game, taking 3/35 and the hosts looked in total control until the final couple of overs.
