Zimbabwe won by 5 wickets against Netherlands in the ICC T20 World Cup 7th Match Played at Sylhet Stadium on Wednesday March 19, 2014. Chasing 141 to stay alive in the tournament, Zimbabwe needed a last ball six from Sibanda to seal a 5 wicket win.

Netherlands 140/5 (20/20 ov)
Zimbabwe 146/5 (20.0/20 ov)
Zimbabwe won by 5 wickets

Zimbabwe have been involved in yet another last ball thriller and this time they finish on the right note. They were cruising at one stage, but Seelar struck twice to remove Masakadza and Chigumbura. Taylor and Williams kept the run-rate under check with some exhilarating running between the wickets. van Gugten was impressive once again as he sent back the well set Taylor. Williams got a lucky boundary away, but Netherlands kept fighting until the last ball. Zimbabwe stay alive and join the other two teams with two points each. This is turning out to be a very tough group though Ireland are still in the pole position.

Previously Netherlands have won the toos and chose to field and they lost their opening wickets very quickly. Great comeback by Netherlands after being 4 down for 35 on the board. Tom Cooper came in and overcame a nervous start to take his team to a decent total. His fifty partnerships with Ben Cooper and Bukhari were aided by some ordinary fielding from Zimbabwe too.
